Fitting Notes
This pattern has been drafted for a height of 5’7.
Don’t take too much notice of the finished garment measurements, as these will change with each different fabric choice. The measurements have been taken from a static
pattern piece, but the fabric will stretch and fit around the body as it’s been cut on the bias and will have more give than something cut on the straight grain.
This is a slip on dress – meaning there are no zip or button closures. Because of this, the waist has a bit more design ease to account for the fact it needs to be pulled over the bust.
The bodice has two cup size options – a B cup and a C/D cup.
To find your sewing cup size, measure your high bust and full bust.
The difference between the two measurements will tell you your size.
Eg: 2.5cm/1 inch difference = A cup
5cm / 2 inch difference = B cup
7.5cm / 3 inch difference = C cup
10cm / 4 inch difference = D cup and so on
This pattern comes with a B cup and C/D cup option – the top front pieces fit within the other pieces, regardless of cup size and view. The skirt front and back pattern pieces are the same throughout.

I recommend making a toile first to work out any fitting alterations you may need, before cutting into your chosen fabric. Make sure to use a fabric with a similar weight and drape to your chosen fabric.
