Bonsai Quilted Indian Cotton
$65.00A folky black and white floral Indian block printed quilted fabric, perfect for quilted jackets, gilets, cushions or coats.
These fabrics are quilted with straight lines every 1cm. Every metre or so you will get a stitching line aross the width of the cloth.
One side of the cloth is black with large white flowers and the other side is black with a small white dot detail.
Please note that the cloth is 106cm wide but only 98cm of the width has been quilted.

Papercut Plum/Orange Quilted Indian Cotton
$65.00A striking Bagru block print in a soft plum one side and orange the other. Bagru, a small village in Rajasthan, 35 kilometres from Jaipur, is known for its hand block printing utilising traditional processes and natural colours. Bagru prints tend to be more simple with limited colours in comparison to Sanganer block prints which are more colourful with finer detail. Block printing is still practiced by the Chippa community, who have lived here for over 400 years.
These block prints are quilted with straight lines every 1cm. Please note the close up picture, these horizontal lines appear every metre so you will get these as part of your cut piece. Even if you order a 1M piece.
Please note that the cloth is 107cm wide but only 98cm of the width has been quilted.
Papercut Quilted is suitable for quilted jackets, gilets, cushions or coats.

This can be used for many of our patterns, ideally dresses, skirts and tops. It would also be suitable for lightweight curtains. We would make a swishy Shepherd.

Sweetie Palette Bandhani Indian Cotton
$44.00An unusual south Indian cotton with a soft and silky handle, similar to sateen. A beautiful rich emerald green that has been hand dyed using an Indian Bandhani technique with dark pink, white and yellow detail.
Bandhani is a traditional tie-dye technique where the cloth is pinched with fingernails and bound in thread. This gives the fabric lots of dots of different colours.
Please note that some of the threads may still be on the reverse of the cloth, just give it shake, and they will fall off!
*Ironing will flatten the crinkle effect of the fabric.

Lightweight yet crisp, with the characteristic bounce of taffeta and smooth finish. This fabric is semi-sheer and structured.
Suitable for garments requiring structure and volume with clean lines, such as skirts and dresses. It could also be used as a lining.
Please note while this fabric composition is 100% viscose it is not suitable for garments calling for drape.
