Hana is a Merchant & Mills designed print. Hana means ‘little flower’ in Japanese. The small scale print is printed on a 100% organic cotton seersucker base creating a delicate and vintage style fabric.
This fabric lends itself well to tops and dresses. We would make something like the Edie or Florence top, the Mathilde skirt or a sleeveless Etta dress.

Note this fabric is semi sheer so you can see through it. Our ‘unbleached washed muslin’ works well under these. They would also be perfect for café style breezy curtains.As our Indian cloth is handmade, they are susceptible to irregularities in the weave or print, this is all part of their charm and are not classed as flaws.

Judy Green 185 European Laundered Linen
$55.00European laundered linen, tumbled at the mill for softness. Emerald green.
The 185 dressweight linen is our go to linen for all dress making and is what we use for many of our samples. It is a great match for all of our patterns, dresses, tops and loose fitting trousers.
This linen also works well for lighter curtains for a casual less refined look.
Produced in small batches in Eastern Europe where there is a strong heritage of spinning and weaving linen fabric.
