Magenta Dry Oilskin
$65.00Best quality dry oilskin made in the UK.
A vibrant magenta pink. The finish is drier and crisper than our other oilskins with a matte appearance. Unlike normal oilskin there would be no oil transfer, so you don’t need to line your garment or bag.
This type of oilskin is water resistant, so this means that the water doesn’t completely run off it, but it won’t come through to the other side either.
All our oilskins are sent folded unless otherwise requested.
Sewing tips: We recommend sewing with a denim needle and 100% polyester/sew all thread. -

Prussian Blue 8oz Organic Sanded Twill
$49.00This organic cotton has a fine twill with a soft sanded finish on one side. It would be ideal for trousers, dungarees and dresses that require some structure ie not a gathered waist, as well as lighter weight jackets and bag linings. It has a utility look and feel to it.

Sweeps Scrim 185 European Laundered Linen
$55.00European laundered linen, tumbled at the mill for softness. Jet black.
The cloth is a light/medium weight linen that works with so many of our patterns. It sews up gathered dresses, skirts, shirts and loose fitting trousers beautifully.
Produced in small batches in Eastern Europe where there is a strong heritage of spinning and weaving linen fabric.

Embroidery Add On
$7.50A PDF pattern for the front panel of the Honey dress.
The design is by Evie May Adams, and the embroidery for this sample was beautifully stitched by Becky Hogg.
For our version we used No 712 DMC Stranded Cotton x 2 with a No 7 embroidery needle. There are various methods you can use for transferring the design, which we’ve listed in the download. For our version we printed the design onto tracing paper, then covered the tracing paper in lots of layers of tailor’s chalk, this way you just draw over the reverse on the cloth and it pushes the chalk onto the cloth.

Dew/Cara Quilted Cotton
$49.00A special double sided quilted Indian cotton.
Dew Block on one side and Cara Block on the other, sandwiching organic cotton wadding with a quilted stitch to hold everything together. It would make a wonderful Ottoline jacket, or a super snuggly Sidney jumper, cushions, or simply bind the edges to make a quick quilt.
Traditional hand block and dye techniques are used to make this wonderful rural cloth. The natural dying process results in some colour variation on the lighter base.
