The Over Shirt is a classic workwear-style shirt jacket and a useful layering piece. Dropped shoulders, a roomy square body and a cropped length give it an easy fit, while the construction uses many of the same satisfying techniques as traditional shirt making.

Details include a collar and stand, double yoke, cuffs and plackets, patch pockets and run-and-fell seams. It works equally well as a straightforward utility layer or as a base for patchwork, pocket variations and other fabric-led changes.
