The Darcy Coat is an elegant, roomy coat designed to layer comfortably over everything from winter knits to lighter summer clothes. The generous shape drapes over the body rather than feeling restrictive.

The pattern includes lined and unlined construction, two coat lengths and a choice of welt or patch pockets, plus a gusset-pocket variation. It is one of Modern Sewing Co.'s more involved projects, with enough options to make either a substantial winter coat or a lighter trans-seasonal layer.
