Our Worker Trousers are the ultimate everyday trousers. Fitted on the hips with a slight balloon in the leg for volume & comfort.

The Worker Trousers are a roomy and generous cut that should sit comfortably on the waist, feel slightly more roomy on the hips and even more roomy around the thighs.

Available in sizes:

XS2 – XL3

In the following formats:
  • PDF: Includes instructions, A4 tiled print at home, US letter tiled print at home and A0 files
  • PDF + A0 Printing: Includes the PDF file as above and A0 printing

Fabric

The Worker Trouser works very well in structured heavy to mid weight twills, drills, denims and canvas fabrics. Lighter twills and denims are lovely in the summer and the lighter weight fabrics will give you a slightly looser fit. Before you start check you can easily sew through 5 layers of your chosen fabric.

Our lay-plans are always done on a single layer of fabric to reduce wastage.

Fabric width 110cm | Sizes XS2 – M = 220cm | Sizes L – XL3 = 230cm

Notions

  • Matching thread or contrast
  • Fabric for pocket bags & binding – a 40cm strip of lightweight cotton (any width of fabric)
  • 4 x 25-30mm big buttons (around 2.5-3cm) or 1 x 25-30mm button and 15cm zip
  • 40cm of good quality fusible interfacing
